Recently I purchased the Vetelli Hanging Toiletry bag from Amazon. I was in the market for a new Dopp Kit and I wanted to take it up a notch by getting something that looked a little nicer than what I had. Price was a factor too, I didn’t want to drop a lot of money on it, so it had to be affordable.
I came across this kit and immediately started filling it with my travel toiletries. It is made from split leather. Wikipedia has split leather defined as:
Split leather is created from the corium left once the top-grain has been separated from the hide, known as the drop split. In thicker hides, the drop split can be further split into a middle split and a flesh split.Splits are often used to create suede.
I was very surprised at how durable it feels. The inside is made of a pretty sturdy canvas and the stitching looks and feels great on it.
As you can see from the pics, it is pretty large and it holds quite a bit. The only issue I have run into is that if you pack it with a lot of things, its a bit bulky to roll up. So if you purchase this, try to gauge your travel size stuff appropriately, otherwise, you are going to have a hard time rolling it up.
Vetelli Leather Hanging Toiletry Bag
Overall I highly recommend this if you want to upgrade from a simpler bag. Its well made, sturdy, and looks classy. For the price, its under $50 and holds a lot of products for travel use.
